Character:

Off-white to pale yellow particles, slightly odorous, non-toxic. The specific gravity is 1.31-1.34, and the initial melting point is above 97 °C. It is easily soluble in benzene, toluene, chloroform, carbon disulfide, dichloromethane, acetone, and ethyl acetate.

Use:

CBS(CZ) is a highly active after-effect accelerator with excellent scorch resistance, safe processing, and curing time short. Alkaline accelerators such as thiurams and disulfide carbamates can enhance their activity. Mainly used in the manufacture of tires, hoses, rubber shoes, cables and other industrial rubber products.
